NAPOLI SECURE LOAN DEAL FOR TUANZEBE

Italian Serie A giants Napoli have announced the loan signing of Axel Tuanzebe from Manchester United. Tuanzebe signed for the Italians after his loan spell at Premier League side Aston Villa was cut short earlier this month and he could make his debut this weekend. The defender is on course to play his first game in Italy when Napoli take on Sampdoria.

Tuanzebe was in Naples, Italy last week to undergo his medical and sign the paperwork before he made his return to England to complete the application for visa. He had to go through visa application due to Brexit. Since Brexit, the details of signing and playing is not the same for English players in comparison to European Union (EU) members.

CHAMPIONS LEAGUE: INTER LEGEND WANTS UNITED

Inter Milan legend Esteban Cambiasso has revealed that he wants Premier League giants Manchester United in the first knockout stage as far as this season’s Champions League is concerned. Cambiasso talked about Inter Milan potentially facing Manchester United in the Champions League round of 16  in a chat with Sky Italy  as he highlighted facing the Red Devils as a favourable draw. According to him, you have to play with the best in the Champions League and that he would like to go to Old Trafford and dream big.

Speaking further, former  Inter Milan midfielder Cambiasso said that Manchester United would be a stronger team in February 2022 with the recent appointment of Ralf Rangnick as their interim manager until the end of the season. He also said that with German tactician Rangnick in charge, Manchester United have a clear mind on what they wantto do and that they will be another team by the time the Champions League knockout stage resumes as a result in addition to the fact that they will have the ability to fight in the January transfer window.

JORGINHO SPOT ON AGAINST NEWCASTLE

Italy midfielder Jorginho was successful from the penalty spot as he wrapped up an emphatic win for Chelsea at the expense of struggling Newcastle United. The Italian international scored the final goal of the game as the Blues extended their lead at the Premier League summit with a 3-0 away win over the Magpies.

ITALY RECORD UNBEATEN RUN ENDED

European champions Italy suffered a rare defeat after they were beaten by Spain in the last four of the UEFA Nations League. The defeat ended their 37-game unbeaten run which is a record as far as international football is concerned.


The Italians had home advantage but they were unable to use it to see off Spanish senior national team manager Luis Enrique and his players. Ex-Barcelona and AS Roma boss Luis Enrique didn’t start the game with a specialist striker but that didn’t stop his team from beating the Italians to secure a place in the final. Continue reading

OLSEN SIGNS FOR SHEFFIELD UNITED

Swedish international Robin Olsen has left AS Roma in Italy to sign for Sheffield United who were relegated from the Premier League last season and are now in the English Championship. Olsen left Italy to join Sheffield United on loan with the option to buy on transfer deadline day for this summer.

Olsen, 31, has decided to drop into the English Championship, which is the equivalent of the Serie B in Italy for this season. AS Roma were happy to let him join the Blades on loan until June 2022 with summer signing Rui Patricio established as the undisputed first choice goalkeeper at the club under the new management led by Jose Mourinho. LIVERPOOL JOIN RACE FOR SASSUOLO MIDFIELDER

Italy midfielder Manuel Locatelli has an interest from a new Premier League team following the news that Liverpool have joined the race to sign him. Italian publication Gazzettadello Sport stated that the Reds are considering a bid for Sassuolo player Locatelli as they look for a quality replacement for GeorginioWijnaldum.

ROMA INTERESTED IN SIGNING ASTON VILLA MIDFIELDER

New AS Roma manager José Mourinho may not have managed his first match at the club yet but he has made it clear that he’s not going to lose any opportunity when it comes to targeting and trying to sign his preferred transfer targets this summer. According to reports coming from the Italian media, the Portuguese manager has reportedly identified Aston Villa midfielder Douglas Ruiz as a potential key signing and has also asked the Roma board to try and get him the player.

Ruiz, a Brazilian international midfielder, has been attracting interest from several clubs in the last few weeks particularly because of the great season he had last campaign. ROMA APPOINT MOURINHO AS NEW MANAGER FOR NEXT SEASON

Italian Serie A giants AS Roma have appointed Portuguese manager José Mourinho as their new head coach who will be taking over as from next season. The Italian outfit confirmed this move in an announcement they made on their official Twitter page, just three hours after announcing that current manager Paulo Fonseca will be leaving the Stadio Olympico at the end of the current campaign.

The club have decided to let go of Fonseca after his inability to steer them towards their main objectives of the season and they have identified Mourinho as the man who is capable and worthy enough to restore them to their normal status. Only last month, Mourinho was sacked by Tottenham Hotspur after a run of unwanted results which forced the hands of the London club’s owner Daniel Levy to dish out the sack letter to the Portuguese.

JUVENTUS PREDICTED LINEUP VS TORINO
